Academic Common Market has been a great experience for me! It has opened up so many doors. It has allowed me to major in Geological Engineering, which I love, without having to worry about the cost of out-of-state tuition. Everyone in the department has been easy to work with and has made using ACM a simple process.

I would say the ACM benefited me in many ways. ACM allows students who enroll in a degree that is not offered in their home state to receive financial help. At first I was a business major and switched to Geological Engineering because of the ACM. Looking back at it now, I wish I would've declared GE from the start. Anyone looking to attend Ole Miss should definitely look into the ACM for GE. You will love the experiences you will encounter while attending with some financial help!

The Academic Common Market has impacted my college career by allowing me the opportunity to go to an out-of-state university. Without the ACM paying for my out-of-state tuition, which is roughly $9,000 a year, I would not be at Ole Miss. The ACM gives me the ability to go to a university that is AAFS accredited, which is a huge opportunity! I am so thankful to be able to go to an out-of-state school and be in a major that I love and want to pursue without worrying about how I am going to be able to pay for it.

The ACM scholarship has allowed me to attend the University of Mississippi and study in a field not offered in my home state. With this opportunity, the University gave me the ability to study abroad and broaden my horizons, both academically and professionally. Without the ACM scholarship, I would not have these possibilities.

This past summer I was given the opportunity to do something incredible. I received a scholarship to travel to Leicester, England, and study Forensic Science at the University of Leicester for three weeks. Without the Academic Common Market (ACM) bringing me to The University of Mississippi, I probably would not have had this amazing opportunity to further my education. The scholarship I was awarded from the University had a total value of almost $2,500. The ACM has also saved me almost $9,000 a year in tuition. If the ACM was not saving me the price of out-of-state tuition, I would most likely be in my home state of Alabama going to an in-state school and not really following my passion for Forensic Chemistry.

The Academic Common Market (ACM) has made a tremendous impact on my college education and development at the University of Mississippi. I am currently a junior forensic chemistry major. As a resident of Alabama, I did not have access to forensic chemistry until this past year. I look forward to starting research with nanoparticles and fingerprinting next semester. I think it will be a great opportunity to apply what I have learned the past few years in various chemistry classes, such as organic chemistry, quantitative analysis, and physical chemistry, in the lab. The ACM has made these opportunities possible, and I can't wait to see the great things to come in the future. Thanks again!

The Academic Common Market program allows me to work on a degree, a Bachelor's of Science in Forensic Chemistry that interests me greatly at an out-of-state school. By providing money for the out of state tuition costs, it has aided my parents in paying for my degree and my brother's future degree.

I am a junior from the state of Georgia majoring in Forensic Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. My journey to become an Ole Miss Rebel began in the spring semester of my junior year in high school. I knew I wanted to attend Ole Miss and study Forensic Chemistry, but being an out-of-state student would be particularly difficult financially. I was extremely excited to discover the Academic Common Market and learn that I could pay in-state tuition since the degree I am seeking is not offered in Georgia. Now each year I save over $10,000 and have the great privilege of continuing my education in forensics in a FEPAC-accredited program at an excellent university.
