The Budget Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Aubrey Patterson, and the Academic Affairs Committee, chaired by Trustee Doug Rouse, will hold a joint meeting on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. Members of the Board may participate in the committee meeting via teleconference. The public may attend the meeting in Ballrooms B, C and D at the Inn at Ole Miss, 120 Alumni Drive, University, Miss. 38677. The committees will meet to discuss issues related to the successes, needs and opportunities in each area at the University of Mississippi. The Finance Committee will also discuss other system finance matters. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, October 18, 2012, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The Board and public may attend the meeting in the Ballrooms B, C and D at the Inn at Ole Miss. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning governs the public universities in Mississippi, including Alcorn State University; Delta State University; Jackson State University; Mississippi State University including the Mississippi State University Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine; Mississippi University for Women; Mississippi Valley State University; the University of Mississippi including the University of Mississippi Medical Center; and the University of Southern Mississippi.
