The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 15, 2012, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The Board and public may attend the meeting in the IHL Board Room, located in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211. As part of the Board’s agenda, it will consider amendments to the following bylaws: 301.03 Board Committees, 301.0510 Meeting Rules of Order, and 301.0705 Commissioner Assessment/Evaluation.
An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The Board meeting will be available for real-time viewing via live webcast on the IHL Web site, http://www.mississippi.edu/ihl.
The Budget Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Aubrey Patterson, will meet on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Members of the Board may participate in the committee meeting via teleconference. The public may attend the meeting in the IHL Board Room, located in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211. The committee will meet to discuss multi-year room and board rates. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
The Real Estate Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Scott Ross will meet on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Members of the Board may participate in the committee meeting via teleconference. The public may attend the meeting in Conference Room 935, located in the Paul B. Johnson Tower Building, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211. The committee will meet to discuss alternate methods of delivery for construction. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
