The Board Search Committee for the Alcorn State University presidential search, an ad hoc committee chaired by Trustee C.D. Smith Jr., and the Interview Search Advisory Committee, comprised of members of the ASU Campus Search Advisory Committee selected by the committee, will hold the interviews of candidates on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, University of Mississippi Medical Center, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39216-4505. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The public may attend in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, University of Mississippi Medical Center. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Board of Trustees of the State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2010. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The public may attend in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, University of Mississippi Medical Center. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The Board meeting will be available for real-time viewing via live webcast on the IHL Web site, www.mississippi.edu/ihl.

The Board Search Committee for the Jackson State University presidential search, an ad hoc committee chaired by Trustee Bob Owens, and the Interview Search Advisory Committee, comprised of members of the JSU Campus Search Advisory Committee selected by the committee, will hold the interviews of candidates on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. at the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, University of Mississippi Medical Center. The interviews will continue on Friday, October 22, 2010, at 8:45 a.m. in the same location. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The public may attend in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, University of Mississippi Medical Center. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act on either day.
