MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY

Event: Mississippi State University’s Lyceum Series, an annual showcase of culture and arts to the university and surrounding community, will feature the Russian string ensemble, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin. MISSISSIPPI UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN

Event: The MUW Department of Sciences and Mathematics will host its annual Regional Science Bowl. High schools from throughout the state will participate and compete for scholarships, trophies and the chance to move on to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. Event: The MUW offices of campus recreation and community service, the Wesley Foundation and Stop Hunger Now will sponsor Dance for Haiti. All proceeds will benefit Stop Hunger Now, an international hunger relief agency. There is a $2 minimum donation for Zumbathon and the racquetball tournament. Event: The UM School of Engineering observes National Engineers Week with a series of daily activities aimed at creating an awareness of engineering throughout the community and helping high school and college students "see the engineer" within themselves.
