Members of the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) Board Search Committee for the next President of Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU), chaired by Trustee Bettye Neely, will meet Tuesday, September 23, 2008, beginning at 7:30 a.m., and Wednesday, September 24, 2008, also beginning at 7:30 a.m., in the IHL Board Room in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS, 39211 for the purpose of conducting first round interviews. Board Search Committee members will be joined by Mississippi Valley State’s Interview Search Advisory Committee, a subset of the original campus Search Advisory Committee formed to review all resumes and recommend candidates to the Board Search Committee. A listing of the members of the Interview Search Advisory Committee can be found here. On both days, an executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
Also on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, beginning at 12:30 p.m., the Board Search Committee for the next President of Mississippi State University (MSU) will meet in the IHL Board Room in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS, 39211 for the purpose of hearing results of candidate background and reference checks. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
