Members of the Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) Search Advisory Committee, formed by the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) to assist with the Board's search for the next institutional executive officer of MVSU and chaired by Vice President of Research, Planning, Community, and Economic Development Dr. Moses Newsome, will meet with executive search consultant Greenwood/Asher & Associates, Inc. on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in room 105 of the Business Education Building on the MVSU campus, Highway 82 West, 206 Medgar Evers Street, Itta Bena, MS, 38941. Search Advisory Committee members will review and discuss all candidate resumes and will forward no fewer than five names, unranked, to the MVSU Board Search Committee for possible interviews. MVSU Search Advisory Committee members will also self-select a representative group of its membership to join the Board throughout the remainder of the interview process.
