Dr. D.E. Magee, Jr., President of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) and Chair of the Alcorn State University Board Search Committee, announced today that the Board Search Committee will meet with various Alcorn State University (ASU) constituency groups on Monday, October 2, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the ASU campus, to hear what qualities the Alcorn State community is looking for in their next university president. These qualities will be used to draft the job description for the position of institutional executive officer at ASU. All meetings are open to the media. The schedule, subject to change, is as follows:
