The Ayers Endowment Trust Management Committee will hold a committee meeting on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) Board Room located in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss staff recommendations made at the August 2006 meeting regarding investment options. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, September 20, 2006, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Board Room of the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS. The full Board will convene at 1:30 p.m., and will then conduct business as a committee of the whole.

Various Board committees, including Educational Policies and Programs; Budget, Finance and Audit; Real Estate and Facilities; Legal; Governance; and Personnel will meet as part of the Board meeting. In addition, IHL's eight public universities will give presentations to the Board on their campus master plans. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

Under the leadership of the Board of Trustees, IHL governs the public universities in Mississippi, including Alcorn State University; Delta State University; Jackson State University; Mississippi State University including the Mississippi State University Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine; Mississippi University for Women; Mississippi Valley State University; the University of Mississippi including the University of Mississippi Medical Center; and the University of Southern Mississippi.
