BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO MEET NEXT WEEK

The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 16, 2021, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the Magnolia Room at Old Waverly Golf Club, One Magnolia Drive in West Point, Miss. 39773. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Board of Trustees will meet, beginning on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. to discuss various higher education topics and initiatives as part of the annual Board retreat. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the Magnolia Room at Old Waverly Golf Club, One Magnolia Drive in West Point, Miss. 39773. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Board will recess its meeting/retreat on Thursday, September 16, 2021, and will then reconvene and continue its discussions on Friday, September 17, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the Magnolia Room at Old Waverly Golf Club, One Magnolia Drive in West Point, Miss. 39773. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning governs the public universities in Mississippi, including Alcorn State University; Delta State University; Jackson State University; Mississippi State University including the Mississippi State University Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine; Mississippi University for Women; Mississippi Valley State University; the University of Mississippi including the University of Mississippi Medical Center; and the University of Southern Mississippi.
