The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2020, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Due to recommendations from the Mississippi State Department of Health for social distancing due to the coronavirus, members of the Board may participate in the meeting via an online meeting platform. The sessions will be webcast on www.mississippi.edu. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the IHL Board Room, located in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Miss. 39211, allowing the maximum number in the room per Executive Order 1525, issued by Governor Tate Reeves on September 30, 2020. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hear from the Jackson State University campus community in virtual informational sessions on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Discussions will center on the path forward in selecting permanent leadership for the university. Each session focuses on a specific constituency group and will be held via an online meeting platform. Participants will be selected by the campus leaders of each constituency group.

The sessions will be webcast on www.mississippi.edu. Those not participating in the virtual informational sessions who would like to submit comments to the Board may use an online form. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the IHL Board Room, located in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Miss. 39211, allowing the maximum number in the room per Executive Order 1525, issued by Governor Tate Reeves on September 30, 2020.
