CAMPUS LISTENING SESSIONS SCHEDULED FOR UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI IN JACKSON, OXFORD

Members of the Board Search Committee leading the search for the next Chancellor of The University of Mississippi will hear from constituency groups in Campus Listening Sessions on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and on Thursday, August 27 at the University of Mississippi Campus in Oxford. The discussions will center on the qualities and qualifications stakeholders believe the next institutional executive officer should possess.

The Jackson Listening Sessions will be held in the Ballroom on the second floor of the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, Miss.

"The Listening Sessions at the University of Mississippi Medical Center are not solely for UMMC alumni," said UM alumnus Alan Perry, Chair of the UM Board Search Committee. "We hope that any members of the Ole Miss family in the Jackson Metro area will be able to join us for the Listening Sessions on August 20."

The Board of Trustees has also postedan Online Listening Session to gain additional feedback as part ofthe Chancellor Search website. The Chancellor Search website provides a wealth of information on the search, including the latest news, frequently asked questions and search progress. It was recently redesigned to be more user-friendly and provide the information in a more intuitive format.
