Members of the Board Search Committee leading the search for the next Chancellor of The University of Mississippi will hear from constituency groups in Campus Listening Sessions on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. The discussions will center on the qualities and qualifications stakeholders believe the next institutional executive officer should possess.
The Campus Listening Sessions will be held in the Inn at Ole Miss Ballroom on the Oxford Campus and include a morning session for alumni and an afternoon session for faculty staff and students. These sessions will also be webcast.

The University of Mississippi Alumni Association Board of Directors will meet with the Board Search Committee at 9:00 a.m. and the University of Mississippi Foundation Board of Directors will meet with the Board Search Committee at 10:00 a.m. The Campus Search Advisory Committee will have an orientation meeting, beginning at 12:00 p.m. All meetings will be held in the Inn at Ole Miss Ballroom.
"We hope to have strong participation from all segments of the campus community," said UM alumnus Alan Perry, Chair of the UM Board Search Committee. "It is important that the Board Search Committee hears many different voices and viewpoints on what is needed in the next Chancellor."
Additional Listening Sessions will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus in Jackson and on Thursday, August 27, 2015 on the Oxford Campus.
